It seems that I am only getting 2 bars of 4G for a few minutes then the connection just drops completely.
I am currently rooted and have been able to get a full 5 bars of 4G service with my Samsung Droid Charge in the same spot.
Any advice would be great!

If you're experiencing data connectivity issues it's likely your location (IE basement, too far from tower, odd signal mesh, etc). If you feel it's a real big issue go to Big Red and see what they can do to answer your issues. At this point, I'm not sure it's software related. Since the OTA Update it's been very okay for me. Even RAZRX v1.1 (the only ROM I know based on ,748 build) is keeping true to that trend.

No matter when I'm on .744 or .748 I get connectivity problems when my radio turns on. Cellular data will be enabled and it can many minutes to turn on 3G. I usually have to go turn on Airplane mode, turn it back off and hope it turns on right away. Works 1/3 of the time. Kind of annoying. My conenction issues seem fine. I notice a difference between using .744 and .748 based ROMS though. it could be related to the known data switching issues of .744.

Maybe that's an issue that needs to be brought up on the moto support forums?

Fixed the 4G connectivity, fixed the motorola.home crashes, fixed the general laginess of the phone, and fixed the camera focus.
One thing I have noticed however is I swear the battery is dying faster, not getting better as they claimed would happen with the update.
I have a feeling that you may be on the old firmware, once we know for sure we can try to help. More info needed.

Has anyone else experienced 4g Connection issues other than the Verizon outage while being rooted?

I sometimes have data cut-outs often as well. I have noticed improvement when I force enable data using Juice defender via the toggle data widget. If you have that, you should give it a try and let me know if it works for you as well.
