Motorola 89442N Portable Charger

Since I bought my RAZR I decided to purchase the Motorola Universal External Battery for the times I’m going to be away from a charger. The Portable Charger is a cool unit. It also has a full size USB outlet so you can charge other devices too.

I wanted to see what battery was inside. There are two screws that hold the cover on. I removed them and inside it has a BP6X battery. The Same battery used in the Droid, D2 & D2G.

The BP7X extended battery, with a little x-acto knife work will fit inside and increase your capacity from 1420 to 1820mAh.
