idk it gives me an internet error nut internet is fine

RSDLite sees the device and im about to start flashing. wish me luck

getting error "unknown fast boot command"

any help on how to fix this error?

Is RSDlite installed in your computer?.... or are you using the rsd flash mode in Sam's house of moto?..... either way, you need to post what it says in the SWDL.text .... the difference will be where its found....

If you are using HouseofMoto, it will be in c:HouseOfMotorola SWDL.txt ..... if it is installed it should be in c: Program Files(x86) MotorolaRSD Lite SWDL.txt

its RSDLite 6.1.4 its on my flash drive and it starts to flash but before it does anything it stops and says"Failed Flashing Process. Uknown Fastboot Command..."

Post the SWDL.txt file in your RSD directory.

From what I can see so far...... to start, you need to edit the XML file within the FXZ file (using notepad++ or similar) to remove the line(s) that read "get var........" Or use Sam's script generator that he linked to earlier.... it will remove the lines for you....

I will do it this time for you, because I totally understand it can be frustrating if you are not sure what you are doing....(and someone else did my first XML edit(s) for me)............. but I urge you to use Sam's script generator ..... then you can compare the two and learn how to do the XML yourself... ...... gimmie 5 min :)

If only there were a java tool you could drop into the FXZ directory, run it, select the xml file, and hit a generate button to output a fixed RSD xml script................

it started and i going god so far. and just ot be clear only the /data folder will be wiped correct? the internal sdcard will not be touched?
