I had no problems at all doing all sorts of stuff with my X, X2, Bionic, RAZR Maxx, RAZR Maxx HD....but this Droid Maxx is getting me....
Where the heck do I place a file to become my phone ring tone ?

Anywhere when you pick your ring tone use chose es file explorer then click on your file you may have to clear your default in the app media storage if you don't see teo things to choose from when trying to choose a ringtone

I've had to use Ringdroid. For whatever reason they don't show up other wise.

I got my ringtone to work....this phone wouldn't work with a WMA file so I had to convert to MP3. I didn't have to ever do that before...
