at step 4 i get Segmentation Fault. everything else goes well. Root checker says I have no noot access and in voodoo ota rootkeeper i'm missing device rooted, and root permission granted but have everything else. got the superuser app, and inside under SU Binary v3.0.3.2 (15) rwxr-xr-x root shell is RED. i'm unable to update su binary because it says don't have root access. Wondering if anybody knows how to fix or a different rooting method.

Thank You.

Well... RAZR blade is in fact the root method for the RAZR 912.... if I were you I would run thru Sam's house of moto ...

and do an FXZ and restore your phone to stock (the root will fail again if you don't delete su binaries, and superuser, which you can't delete without root access so FXZ is necessary)...... there is a keep data option so you don't lose your personal data, apps, etc...... then run RAZR blade again to root......

had root before jellybean update. maybe something from previous root is conflicting with new root.? when you say back to stock would that be ICS thats what the phone new came with? or as if I just got the jellybean OTA?  I have root explorer which seems to be working. can i manually go in and delete superuser and  su binaries?

how critical is the smartactions part of the root? in directions it acted like smartactions should be bran new as if you've never used it before. when i rooted battery saver was already activited so i went with it. maybe I should have made smart actions as if I've never used it then activited batt save during root. Would this cause my probablem?

Yes... the smart actions needs to be fresh as if never used.... and no, without full root access you cannot delete su and su binaries with root explorer.....

"Back to stock" will be JB stock, as you cannot go back to ICS ...
