AFAIK ..... Most of the major changes made with 4.4 are "under the hood" where you may not notice much in the way of visual changes.....:)

Razr series will NOT get Kit Kat... not officially anyway.

I just got a new Droid Maxx (Not Razr Maxx) because the old Razr which is now two years old has been not feeling too sporty lately. Last official update was a year ago for the Razrs

The update killed my mics for anything other than while video recording.Bought phone on eBay to keep my unlimited so Verizon was no help (surprise). In soak group so I thought maybe God, oops I mean Matt at Motorola might have an idea, but all I got from him was a snarky reply about how he was busy helping people whose phones the update completely bricked. Just wanted to put this out here as a caution that might not hurt to hesitate a little on this update. I know a lot about phones and I am out of ideas on how to fix mine.

Yeah, if the mic is dead this will be the second Motorola smartphone I have owned that suffered this fatefate and I am very careful with my phones. Doesn't make sense though that it records crystal clear sound while video recording, yet speakerphone or any voice commands, phone calls etc it does not even get a hint of sound. I have the new maxx and never got around to rooting it because it was running so good. Never make that mistake again ha
