98.30.1 ROOT?

root 98.30.1 4.1.2 9.8.1Q-94-1 reroot

No. They're is no way to root at this point. There is a bounty going but I wouldn't place much hope as there really isn't anyone who's found exploits prior looking at this device. They have all moved on to newer units.

Hi I was just wondering if there is a way to root the 98.30.1 update. I had a previous version that I rooted with the moto2go method and never updated it. I tried using voodoo ota rootkeeper but ended up soft bricking. After a few hours, I used RSD Lite to flash my old version and, like a dummy, updated to 98.30.1 ota because I was now unrooted and figured, why not. Come to find out, apparently there isn't a root method for this firmware version yet. I want to find out for sure or, if there are any methods, reroot my phone. Thank you in advance for anyone willing to help.

System Version: 98.30.1.XT907.Verizon.en.US

Android Version: 4.1.2

Build #: 9.8.1Q-94-1

Build Date: Thu Sep 26 12:22:41 CDT 2013

The Bootloader is locked as well. It was only rooted and had the stock ROM.

Thanks again.

Also,

Merry Christmas to everyone :)

I figured as much :/ Thank you for the clarification. If you hear about anything, and you think about it, post it here. I'd be really grateful.
