I've mulled around the VZW Droid Razr M forums...

...at last look, I've discovered that if you have System version 98.18.94, you can't do anything anywhere near rooting, flashing etc. with this phone.

What IS the latest System version?

And is there any way to circumvent OTA updates (I'm a bit impatient), and remove VZW/Moto bloatware? I've got much of it disabled...I'd rather just plainly get rid of it.

The latest version is 98.19.94 or 9.30.1.  You can block OTAs by freezing the updater.apk and remove bloat if you are rooted .  However, if you're already on the latest update, there's nothing you can do.

So...I have to wait for further OTA updates just to get to the latest system version?

Your question makes no sense.  Do you want to circumvent OTAs or take them?  The newest OTA came out in November, you should have it by now, unless you blocked it.

What I meant by circumventing the OTA updates is getting the latest updates without waiting for them.

If the latest OTA is November, then it would be 98.18.94, right?

How would you get OTA updates, before they come out?  There are very few people that have access to that kind of stuff, and they're really not even allowed to release it.  They might show up on Droid Developers SBF, but that's still after they're released to the general public. Yes, the latest OTA is .94.
