There is a program for changing logos in fast boot mode. Its in the Mods section.

I was asking around for the very same thing to add it as an option for my utility. Unfortunately, after researching the idea and asking devs/admins on the forum, I concluded that it is not possible and we have to stick to flashing logos with a computer and putting the phone in AP Fastboot mode

Root browser wont work either, it only works through fastboot. Its not that bad. Typing the code transferring and rebooting only takes about 30 seconds max.

Boot logo right? Not a boot animation? Boot animations can be installed just by placing them in system/media just Label it bootanimation.zip and rename your stock one to bootanimation.zip.bak so you have a back up.

Boot logos are flashed in fastboot mode with ADB...er fastboot really.

On your computer, if you're familiar with ADB, fastboot and command line stuff it's

Fastboot flash logo.bin LocationAndNameOfLogo.bin or img (on your computer)

Itll send it and write it and you're in business. Boot logos are in their own partition, animations are within the android file system.
