I know its a lot to ask but I don't want to mess my phone up.

I have had my droid razr about a year. Its completely stock. I would like to try the 215 leak but don't know where to start. Don't know anything about
flashing , boot strap etc. Would someone walk me through what to download and where to get it and the steps to get this done.

Thanks
John
Go here first and download utility. This will get you back to stock if you mess something up or need total stock for whatever reason.
Go here for the update. fairly simple to do. If you want root use the first link to use the utility to root and get OTA root keeper first, then temp unroot with voodoo and carry on with this link.

All you need to do is download the 215 zip and place it on your sdcard, not internal storage.
Then power phone off.
Hold both volume buttons while powering on.
AP menu will appear.
Volume down to highlight recovery.
Volume up to select.
When triangle appears, press both volume buttons.
You are now in recovery.
Volume down to install from SD card.
Power to select.
Navigate to the zip you downloaded.
Power to select it.
Confirm install.
Let the phone do its thing.
When finished reboot

How stock are you? You might not even need the utility.

You don't even need the utility then, unless you want to root before or after the install. Just get the .215 update and flash it in stock recovery.

The utility is for the computer only, used too return to stock in the event you don't like .215. Beware that returning to stock will erase your user data.do I download the utility from the computer and to the sd card of phone?
