It will definitely be buggy for at least a few months after the first usable release. dhacker already released an alpha rom but audio does not work and 4g/3g/wifi data are out (only 1x)

According to his last tweet, audio is working now, still only 1x data though. He also mentioned that Hashcode is making progress on kexec for the Razr. If/when they get that working properly, we will have a whole new phone.

How did you install it?

Here is what I did:
1) Install safestrap
2) switch to safesystem enabled
3) wipe data, wipe cache, format system, wipe dalvik cache
4) install cm10 zip
5) install gapps(I've tried the one that Matt has provided for other roms and the JB one from rombot)
6) I boot up and get to the cm boot animation but get no further

I read on droidhive that you have to be connected to a pc via usb while booting to get past the boot animation

For anyone else wanting to try CM10 on your phone do the following:

(select the newest cm10 zip)

Next do the following:
1) Install safestrap (open app and install recovery)
2) Reboot into safestrap
3) switch to safesystem enabled
4) wipe data, wipe cache, format system, wipe dalvik cache
5) install cm10 zip
6) install JB gapps
7) Make sure your phone is connected via usb to a pc (this allows you to get past the boot animation or else it will keep repeating)
8) Select reboot
9) Profit

What are the issues of this ROM? Does it have working data yet? Is it as smooth as it is on the Galaxy Nexus?

Well I haven't done much testing with it, but for now it has 1x data and is pretty smooth for a really early build. There are still a lot of features not working, but seeing JB being developed for Razr is promising.

I booted the 7/27 version last night but forgot gapps so I just went to bed. Then this morning I booted the 7/28 version with the gaaps from rombot and it did take a while to boot but it did indeed boot just fine. Yes it only has 1x but I'm only gonna play with it today while I'm home on WiFi anyway. If Dhacker and Hashcode stick with it I'd say we'll have a pretty solid cm10 with everything working very soon. The hold up is Dhacker is also building this for ssgs3, RAZR, bionic, gnex so we're not the only device he's devving cm10 for. Works great for an alpha considering I'm aware of its flaws.

Which release are you using? Dhacker said on twitter that the last release only has support for 1x so how do you have 3g? You're talking about CM10 right, not CM9?

Yes cm10 and the version released today. All I did was switch mobile network to CDMA/ evdo and waited a few minutes and it worked. Everything works so far except the camera.

That's amazing. I did the same exact thing and I couldn't even get the 1x to work for me.

I just loading CM10 on my razr. I have to say very impressive and really snappy. I was wondering something, remember when cm9 was first in alpha or beta there was a series of steps to enable data. One had to enter the phone info screen and tap on several different modes before finally tapping on cdma auto prl. Would this work to get data? I just cant remember the steps.....any help?

*#*#4636#*#* gets you into phone info mode. From there you would toggle gsm and then back to CDMA/GSM/LTE but other than one person here, no one else I'm aware of has gotten any data other than 1x, including the guy who compiled the rom, DHacker. I mean, it costs nothing to try. It didn't work for me though.
