I made this CM10 boot logo for my phone, thought I'd share.

Unzip (I put the logo as well as a jpeg in a zip so you can see what you're getting)
Put phone into AP Fastboot mode
Make sure you have adb/fastboot installed on your computer
Put this img in your fastboot/adb directory or know how to locate them in your command line

Also Alex.Abraham made this fancy utility that can allow you to flash boot logos the easy way if you don't want to use a command line. Just rename my file to logo.img and drop it in his "Make your own" folder. Get it here

I can make these for anyone who wants one. They are very easy to install as well once you get the hang of it. The installation method has been gone over in more detail in other threads. But if anyone wants something else made, let me know...I'm bored.

can someone make this into a bootlogo for me?
1) create any image sized 540 x 540
2) The top and bottom 1pixel edge will be the top/bottom color of the boot logo/ black i would like it to blend
3)On the Output channel Red -> change the red value from 100 to 0 and the blue value from 0 to 100
4)On the Output channel Blue -> change the red value from 0 to 100 and the blue value from 100 to 0

perhaps your image was too big? they need to be 540x540.and the logo partition is only 1mb in size so if your logo is bigger than that, it'll always fail. Here's what I got from what you sent me.

plug your phone into your computer and execute

Yeah I resized it. I think the biggest issue was converting it to .img.. I got ImgBurn, but I think the file was too big.

Is there any way to make the background behind it black? If there is and you can tell me how, and how to make it an img (since I can't with Gimp...) .. I can do it so you're not bothered.
