I thought we could have a thread where we can discuss the kernels that we can use with this new bypass. And throw ideas around for the developers to look at. Personally I'd like to see a pack of kernels that'll work with many different roms so that we can flash any one we like. I myself prefer low voltage kernels that are overclockable. If anybody was here from the beginning of the original DROID you remember all of the different kernels we were able to flash and if one of them didn't work you just flashed another one until you found one that didn't get you boot loops lol.

I personally think we should give it more time, because though I'm sure Kexec is doing a great job, we don't even have anything available for the general community (that i'm aware of, correct me if i'm wrong) so there is no telling what kind of awesomeness will come out of this. We all just need to calm down. lol

It has not been published and is still a work in progress.

Runs smooth most of the time. Data instant on boot from source built! But there are some things that need work. When its ready... trust me EVERYONE will know! ;-)

& belive me, even tho I know nothing of programming android os, & tho I am excited about this - some folks gave good answers to my questions - so I understand a little-

I can & will wait till it is ready - last nite I stood up for hicks in the Chat room, I have big respect for devs & wouldn't dream of killing the goose that lays the golden eggs… it really bothered me to see how droidhacker was hounded… I look fwd to sinking my teeth into Kexec & it gives me nervous chills that idiots could make dh want to go into hiding, thissis gonna be great.

I even posted in the Thank You dh thread, b/c I'm on the devs' side…

All good man. The way I see it we all get a little tired sometimes. Whether its just some off colored post, bombarded with crap, or just spending to much time working on things. It happens! The main thing I ask everyone to remember is that this stuff is a hobby. Except for a select few we're doing this with our free time because its what we enjoy to do. If the fun in it is lost it becomes a job! So just have fun!! :-)
