Here is an overclock app for bionics on ICS. I have tested it on .232 and have had no problems. It is an alpha build tho but it does work. You can also get Motomizer app from the market. Has more options.

Eveything below is flashable through BootStrap. (Confirmed working on 6.7.242)

Here is the BootStrap I use which is touch. I am not sure where i got it from originally but it works.

Here is a Bionic Init.d installer for those who do not have it installed.

Here is a Governor installer as well. Which includes the following modules.

I thank Tweakerz OC for this.

shouldnt matter, but if you are new to tweaking / scripting a stock blur ROM id actually recommend the Motomizer app in Play store, the engrish is kinda broken but it somewhat automates this process for you lol, props to all these devs out here flocking back to moto

I followed the limited instructions here and elsewhere and I've been able to install all the kernel modules, init.d, and used Tweakerz to overclock. How do I get this to persist through a reboot or have an automated process that I can just run each time the device boots?

Thanks!
Just having fun with Android!

the init.d install is what makes it persist upon boot, but depending on your recovery it will fail because permissions are not fixed correctly. once booted up, you can check the init log in /data for details as to whether it failed and why. if it did you may have to manually chmod the modules to 777 manually through term or root explorer.

Correct me if I'm wrong but after doing everything here we still have to set the clock speed after a reboot right? This makes it so the modules all load on reboot but clock speed still reverts to 1.0g.

yes but using SetCPU, app's like SetCPU, or scripts will do it for you automatically.

No matter what I do I have to reset the clock speed after a reboot. Not really a big deal as I don't reboot often and the modules all load now on boot.
