safestrap only lets you instill so much what he has done is split it into two installs DL liquidsmooth cm9 v1.1 and DL blur datapack v1.1 and put them on your sd card then do your wiping then install the cm9 v1.1 then go back and install the datapack v1.1 then reboot your phone I think that is what your asking right

YES! Exactly..... I didn't know that parts of the rom are included in the data pack file. I wasn't reading correctly. I thought I was going to have to actually go in on my pc, grab half of the files, put them in another zip, then flash, flash, flash data pack.

I've been flashing Roms since I knew it was possible to even do. I'll always consider myself a n00b just due to the fact I have noooooooooooo clue how to build a ROM. I know the terms and lingo....I know what breaks what and why, but when it comes to actually putting the ROM together........don't look at me.

Hey guys,

Does this have the same customizations as the original Liquid had?

Lockscreen, status bar, etc?

I've noticed that on the older mr2.6, and I'm planning to flash this rom to hopefully avoid that problem. I've assumed it's been my wifi connection, but I guess I'm not the only one with this problem.

I was also wondering about this. If it's just like stock CM9, I won't be able to do without the customization, and I'll switch back.

Okay, so I flashed this ROM for a split second, but went right back to LiquidSmooth mr2.6 when I realized there wasn't the glorious customization of LiquidSmooth. Nothing against your work, just personal preference.

All which leads me to ask this: are you gonna be continuing development with LiquidSmooth? Perhaps working in more customization to this ROM? Or are your plans with using LiquidSmooth as a base coming to a halt? I'd like to know, I'm curious about which direction development is going.

I love the snappiness of this ROM, and I want to use this as my daily driver, but I have one major issue. There's no HDMI Output at the moment. This is HUGE for me. I use the HDMI dock for my car entertainment and absolutely MUST have HDMI out. If anyone has a quick-fix for the issue until it can be addressed by the ROM maker, I would greatly appreciate it, otherwise I'll have to use something else until the ROM maker addresses this. I hope that there is something that can be done, however, as this is the best running ROM I'm yet to install on this phone.

Made this my main rom for the past week and have had these problems:

Lately, when the phone has locked, pressing the lock button on the top won't turn the screen on and multiple presses will take several seconds (10-20s) for the screen to power and present the unlock slider. While on the phone, however, the screen will constantly flash on and off and make it pretty impossible to unlock.

Data will timeout, 3g & 4g eventually lock up (typically after 30m-1h of idle) and stop working, toggling the data controls doesn't restore them -- have to put the phone into airplane mode for a short while then back out to get the data flowing again. The same for wifi, but toggling seems to get it working without having to resort to airplane mode.

Lighting for the function bar (options, home, back, search) doesn't seem to turn off. Thought it was custom lighting settings -- set those to default but it still lights while charging (screen is off) and when the notification LED is flashing (it flashes with it).

Finally, the battery time also seems pretty weak, but it's probably my gripes about going from GB to ICS as CPU Spy has been showing my phone is going into deep sleep as it should and Gsam shows a high average battery life. I'll put up the usage stats for today once I get them to compare

I have read this forum and cannot find anyone with bluetooth issues? When I try to turn on bluetooth from the settings screen, it just says "Turning on Bluetooth on ..." and sits there. I exit out of settings and go back and try again and it does the same thing over and over again. So far love this ROM. Its been about two days now and I am USING it as I type with my LAPDOCK 100!! Thank you so much for making a very clean Blur ROM. It is very dissapointing to me that MOTO recently announced they are abondoning the lapdock program with the new M!!! If thats the case the LEAST they can do is UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER. I mean the hype from the Bionic is long gone. Except for those of us that use it as our phone. I highly doubt there is anything proprietary or confidential that moto has locked up inside the bootloader.
