I also noticed that this device looks like a 16GB version. Maybe that has something to do with some of the write issues.....werent there problems for some with 16GB compared to the 32GB????

There was an issue with the 16 vs the 32gb HDs when people first started flashing 4.4 ROMs.  I can't remember exactly what it was, but I think it's been solved.

Just a random thought, the OP mentioned something about having Moto Device Manager open while he was doing this.  I could have sworn that I ran across something a long time ago (can't remember where I saw it) that said you should close out of DM when trying to fastboot/RSD.  I might be getting mixed up with Samsung Kies, though, I can't exactly remember.

You are right.....the device manager does not play nice sometimes with fastboot/_RSDLite

I suppose it would be cheaper to ship the phone this way, but the Bahamas sounds nice!

So back to the problem....is it possible that the previous version of 4.1.2 was not from Rogers in Canada? Maybe you had another one.....

Linux doesn't require any driver. I really don't have any ideas left for this issue.

Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk

i just try adb device in windows 7, and it doesnt show any device in list. but if i try fastboot device. it show 1 device. but in linux, after i install fastboot. it dont show any device. after i search for driver, it just said that motorola dont support, maybe because of the problem linux dont recognize my motorola.

For starters, RSD doesnt recognize the device since the left hand window is empty of information........

yes its empty. but its show my device. in bootom line. is it mean i can only try in fastboot and not in rsd????

I also noticed that this device looks like a 16GB version. Maybe that has something to do with some of the write issues.....werent there problems for some with 16GB compared to the 32GB????

is it really because of 16GB version? i realy like this device, i own 32GB micro sd, so when i bought it, i dont think i need that huge ram on my phone. and is 32GB out of this kind of problem? i dont know i am a huge fans of motorola since v series. my 3 early motorola android device dont hav any problem. so if i realy cant solve it, i wanna try with droid razr hd max, prize still reasonable than moto x with no micro support.

adb won't recognize it in fastboot mode.  Linux, as I said, does not require a driver.  I wrote the Linux House of Moto and tested it on an HD when I owned it.  If Linux can't see your phone, then your phone and/or Linux install are messed up.

ok, maybe i should install it through hard drive, i just format computer with same result, but in ubuntu it can try with usb, maybe its my fault. ok i ll try install full first.

how to know its roger? the phone cant open the back case?

i use it original from the seller. beside that i own my old motorola droid cable xt720, also have data cable from car charger its original moto accesories. with same result.

this sunday wanna visit my brother, he still using windows xp. wanna try my luck with windows xp. if not, i have already make factory cable from my old cable. i ll try that cable on monday, after trying with win xp.

n on xda there is an issue with encryption unsuccsesful with galaxy device. n they try with "EMMC_Reverse_Fix_Jellybeans.zip" files. if i wanna try it, can i install it through recovery? or i should push it over faceboot(i dont think it will work)( i got error massage too with fastboot when using "faceboot flash system system.img.ext4"
