I have test flashed quite a few different Rom's in both SS and BS. Boot looped more times than not...

I have done 10 or more FB and still can not update from .744 to .748 with the OTA. I have also tried manually.

I can though flash a SS recovery to get back to .748 but when I try to manually update to the leak I get....

Assert failed: apply_patch_ check
C"/preinstall/knowyourdevice/Motorola_XT912_battery save.3gp
"6bcc993965d9cd3862f5c5a5760el29d36b07cf5"
"2d331a46601d4786ea21eb615b35c0a1ffd35fd"
E: error I. /Tmp/sideload/package.zip
Status 7

I have flashed a .748 stock-rooted still does not work.

Any suggestions?

Please hold technical difficulties.. finish topic momentarily.....

Wiping data/cache after fastboot? Your preinstall files may have SafeStrap stuff in them still.

that happen to me earlier today, the file name of the update makes it confusing

you should not skip the ota named 744 because that update actually put you from 744 to 748 and i got confused with that aswell and got the same error message

you should do the 51mb file(744 ota) first and then if you so desire, you could go ahead and flash the 151mb (748 ota) update to make your phone 173

edit: wrong size lol

Mine was having tons of issues with this too. have you done a FULL fastboot through RSD to get you started at .744? because until I did that, mine kept failing when updating to .748

yes i did a full recovery using RSD and the 1GB file

i think the part that people are getting confused is because with the name of the OTA update

the Blur_Version.6.11.744.XT912.Verizon.en.US OTA (57mb) update actually takes you from 744 to 748

and the Blur_Version.6.11.748.XT912.Verizon.en.US leaked OTA (151mb) update takes you from 11.748 to 12.143

after you do the full flashboot and IF you skip that 6.11.744 (57mb) update and go ahead and apply the 6.11.748(151mb), it would give you the status 7 error message
