Does font installer work on razr or does it brick or just not work. I don't have a backup and don't want to brick for no reason but was planning on changing my font. Thanks.

I've used it in the past without issue but only on custom ROMs. I just thoroughly gutted my stock ROM and leave it alone. :)

If you phone is rooted then install safestrap recovery & put on safe side then you will have no worries!

I think you'd better use Root Explorer(android tool ,you must be know it) to change font.
1.root your device.
2.download the font(Roboto-Regular.ttf and Roboto-Bold.ttf) what you want install.
3.open R.E.
4.find the font you download.
5.press menu button(like this:三)
6.press “multi-select“
7.select Roboto-Regular.ttf and Roboto-bold.ttf
8.press “copy“
9.slid to top
10.parent folder until you find a folder named “system“
11.open system/font(press “Mount R/W“ on the top)
12.paste (overwrite the old file)
13.extended press Roboto-Regular.ttf
14.find the word “permissions“,and press it.
15.give the -Owner “Read and Write“
-Group “Read“
Others “Read“
attention:the font file only have four permissions(Owner‘s Read and Write,Group‘s Read and Other‘s Read)
16. repeat step13~step15 on Roboto-Bold.ttf
17.reboot your device
18.enjoy your new font
P.S.
My mother language is Chinese.so my English is very bad.
If there's anything you don't understand, I try my best to give you the answer
