I think my stupid phone jack died. It was working great but today it just doesn't want to work.. Gonna try to sbf later see if somehow was a corrupted file.. I can hope so.

I know ics has this audio bug which names it worst. oh and my vibration is going on and off...

Did you check the headphone jack for some pocket lint? L0L try a different set of headphones or you could fastboot back to stock see if that helps?

The headphone jack drove me crazy on my RAZR. One time it actually died and I needed a new phone. The other 20 times it wasn't working right it was pocket fuzz. Blow in it like its an old school Nintendo, usually did the trick for me.

I had to pick my lint out with a toothpick, it was really stuck at the bottom where you couldnt even see it. im surprised they dont sell some kind of rubber plug for it.

+1 million check for lint. I was all geared up to send mine in for warranty replacement and until I took a bobby pin and stuck it in there. Well, I pulled a large hamster out of mine and it worked mint after that.

That would make sense. Every headphone jack has to be the same style so in theory all of the covers/plugs should work.

They already have that patent, duh. They're just taking their time filling out the court filings against the 700000 companies who have ever used a standard headphone jack.

All kidding aside, I believe it was the RCA company who developed and designed that style jack originally.

I been meaning to sbf back to see if would work but been playing guid wars 2 lol..

I did try blowing/sucking the lint out if was any and did nothing. Tried other things and no go.. As soon as i get to reformatting using sbf I'll let know if worked. Might need get a new replacement though...

Gonna try get to lvl 30 1st lol 3lvls away. .

While you might enjoy blowing/sucking your headphone jack, it's probably not gonna help any more than an FXZ will. Take something small, a paper clip or bobby pin, and stick it in there and hook the lint out. I found performing fellatio on my phone (while quite enjoyable) to be completely useless but the bobby pin went the distance and I once again had a working headphone jack.

So I got to lvl 30 and love the elite skills!

Anyways, I flashed back to 211 and strangely, that fixed it.. How could it even happen to be the update? Idk.. But i do know this means 215 has a bug that will eventually stop your phone jack from working.

Again, thank you everyone for jumping into this problem with me that i was having so fast. <3

Eventhough I still am probably gonna try for a replacement, at least I got the phone jack to work.(Reason I should go ahead and try to get another one is because my phone's viberation keeps losing; going on and off. I have to turn the display off and hit it with my hand to get it to work again but even afte that, it still will start back... Just hope they won't care that I'm 0/1 xD
