As in, what needs to be deleted from the zip to make overclocking not ever happen?


The 98CPU init.d script is what overclocks the phone on boot. You just need to change the values in the script to be what you want them set at for each slot (speed and voltage) and you can have those values set on boot instead.

On the JB version i tried to install the play store apk from the phone but it didnt take. Does anyone know how to do this?

sure is quite in here it must be running good for everyone I know it is on my end :) one question is anyone using different themes? if so witch ones and where did you get them? I like changing my colors sometimes...

Not sure while anyone would still be running bootstrap. But i believe this is ok with bootstrap.

Sparky strictly says safestrap.. I'm a bootstrap user still and this is the only reason I haven't tried the ROM. Just haven't been in the mood to see. Give it a shot and see if your feeling frisky.

Does not work in BS. And some people still use BS because they like to use other apks in place of the included ones or add-on, but the size limitation poses a problem, enter bootstrap...

gota really love it when you go to change fonts on your phone and you get stuck in a bootloop that you cannot recover from and got to fxz.. I expect possibilities of doing this on ROMs but I got slapped in the face on romtoolbox..

Actually, Im not afraid to factory reset with this phone, because unlike DroidX, I dont have to inject my phone number to it everytime I factory reset.
With Bionic I just have to do a little hack to register my RUIM Card then I good to go again :)
