Has anyone else had the high pitch beep in their headphones since upgrading to icsleak 232 I have and it's stayed with every Rom I have flashed. If someone knows a fix I would be very grateful

Are you referring to the high pitch whine?

Is there anyone who had this problem present itself in 232 gone on to any of the later leaks (242,244,246) and notice if its still there or has it been fixed in these new builds. I know it is not hardware as i didnt have ot on gb and i have fxz'd back to 905 and its not there but it is in every ics leak before 235

@BB - some people reported the same thing on earlier GB builds as well, but that it went away around .902, and that it came back around ICS leak time. Unfortunately, if you go higher than .232, you're stuck on them, and there is no guarantee that it is going to fix it. However, using HoB, you'll have no issues moving around from any of the 2.5+ leaks to another 235+ leak, and we're relatively sure (not 100% though) that you'll be able to take the final OTA once it is released.

I can confirm the high pitched whine was a real bother when the phone was stock (new). It was patched after a couple months by VZW/Moto and the whine was gone. As soon as I hit .232, the whine was back. And, .246 and .247 both have the whine.

The best workaround I have found is to buy a cheap inline volume control for your headphones. Radio shack sells a short extension cord that has a volume attenuator. This seems to filter out the whine (a bit).

Thought about doing the whole inline volume control but went ahead and bought some Bluetooth headphones and no whine so i guess bt will have to do although sound quality isn't as good a my wired hp maybe they will fix it after ota like they did in gb
