Oh. Well, I don't ever use my twitter account. :D No biggie. I just like to get these things looked at and proper support built for the HoB before everyone goes insane trying to install it and messing it up. I see one of my sith apprentices up there is already on the ball. ;)

added md5 to op...

actually did add the leak to HoB first thing and created a boot.img, very slick! noticed support for other leaks also have a recovery.img different from the 905; how/when is that created?

I'm working on this now. Recovery is extracted once the update is installed and you've rooted it. You'll see a (usually) hidden menu option for Extract recovery image. Once *I* do it, I put together a support installer for the HoB and add it to my hosting and release it. This just SUCKS though. 242 was supposed to be it. :(

Tell me about it. 242 should have gone soak on Friday. Now we reset the clock. And if it really is flash that caused them to reject 242 then 244 won't be accepted either. Awesome...

I don't see why flash would make such a big deal to anyone really i mean how many browsers for android still even use it? I for one have never had a problem on the leaks running youtube or anything else for that matter. I don't see why it should be a big deal to anyone being it is not supported in JB and ultimatley that is where we want to be so if/when we get there how many people are going to be complaining flash doesn't work then either?

Hey mhous33....can you confirm that you found 244 on a QA server and not on a staging server? I'm trying to confirm a theory. Thanks!

There's no difference. VZW said "NO" to 242 because of flash issues. 244 was supposedly supposed to address them and guess what....it didn't. However, it's my opinion that we're back to QA builds which means we're going to see a couple leaks before we get back to the staging server. That's why I've asked where this build was found. I'm pretty sure it was on a QA server. If so, FOL.

Actually, that is a diff of the files themselves, not the updater-script, just so you know.

Are you sure those differences aren't just a reflection of a different signature of each file?

You can take 2 identical files and sign them 2 different ways and get 2 different md5 sums. At least, I can. Perhaps that's why you see so many differences.

Then why are some of the apps signed differently and others not? Plus, RichLocationVzW.apk is completely removed :D

Meaning there is at least one difference between .242 and .244 that is not signature related, even if the others are.
