     Many of you have heard of the upcoming Silver program, which sounds to be a combination of the Nexus and GPE programs in that Google will work with device manufacturers to bring a nearly stock Android interface to higher end devices, with OS updates coming directly from Google.  Additionally, Google is reported to be offering financial incentives to the tune of $1 billion to assist with advertising and setting up specialized kiosks, staffed by Google trained employees, in stores.  The rumor mill has been all atwitter today with reports that Google will be using the new Silver program to replace both its Nexus and GPE programs. At least four different tech sites have reported this info today, those interested in taking a gander at one of them can do so
