I was trying to root my phone earlier and the plug accidentally came out of the phone. Now when I trying running the root program again it does not find my razr hd maxx. My phone stays on a screen saying:

AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)

eMMc: Size 32GB

Device is LOCKED, Status Code: 0

Battery ok

Transfer Mode:

USB Connected

Fastboot Reason: Flash Failure

usb connected

Can someone please help,

Thank You

How were you trying yo root?

You don't get flash failures from rooting

You may need to flash back to stock first.... You have to get something to flash properly before you can continue......

Just flash a boot logo and try to reboot first.

It was a file called motochopper_1.3._xt926, I saw a youtube video of someone doing it. What do you get flash failures from?

That makes sense...... Motochopper no longer works .... The flash failure came from it attempting to flash a different boot.img.....
Which is not possible now (due to latest ota updates)......

My advice ..... Use RSDLite or Sam's house of moto and the current FXZ file to revert to complete stock ...... Then there is a proper root method for it......

True, and if you need, you can use the save data function on the house of moto if you don't want to lose your stuff.

Motorola drivers...... Install those then your computer should "see" the phone....

Have you already got it back to booting properly?

Me personally .... Yes, uninstall the device manager and its drivers..... Install the ones that I linked to you......

However..... You NEED to be booted normally before you can root ..... Or use anything other than house of moto or RSDLite ......
