I didn't think I'd say this, but I'm diggin stock Touchwiz. It has some features that I can't get with custom roms.
While I agree that there's a bunch of gadgets and goodies built into touchwiz, personally I HATE the rest of the UI. It's my least favorite of the 4 main overlays and the most intrusive.

just got my gently used SGS3 yesterday. Couldn't be happier with it. blows my Razr Maxx out of the water... except for maybe battery life.
I couldn't help it... I've already unlocked the bootloader and rooted it.

I have gs3 and note 2. my old lady uses the gs3 and she loves it. I prefer my bigger screen. good to see this section filling up

lol I rooted within 10 minutes of activating mine as well and bricked it the same night.bwahahaha .....and shipped back to VZW and got my new one next day, and rooted before I set it up....definitely blows my maxx out of the water as you said except for battery life....

Running CleanROM 6.0r2 on my S3(just got it about 2 weeks ago) with the Dark Horse Rises theme. Just got my new ZeroLemon 7000MAH battery in today, charging right now to see how long this thing will actually last! Loving the S3 though.

Curious as to how you bricked your S3. Most Samsungs are notoriously difficult to brick. I've owned 4 Sammys. The Acclain, Galaxy S and S II on US Cellular and the S III on VZW and I've never gotten myself into a situation I couldn't Odin my way out of.

Just got my S3 a few days ago and rooted, unlocked, installed TWRP and running Baked ROM. This phone is super smooth.
