I've been happy with the ICS leak, but now I want to install Google Now. Using Safe strap, is there a way to restore my backup of my non safe side to my safe side? I tried through the backup/restore menu but I went into a boot loop.

That's weird its worked for me. Scratch that it will only work with a deodexed ROM for me. And you should have no issues.

Ah. So if my phone isn't deoxed then I'm SOL? I'll have to look into switching out safe strap for bootstrap then.

Ya I guess I should have been a bit more specific. Click on safe strap to bring up the app. Uninstall it. Install bootstrap.(called bs and ss for expediency). Flash deodexed 232? That's where I stopped. Set it up. Uninstall bs install ss make backup. Switch to safe side then it should let you restore .
