Have you heard about the HTC Incredible X? You may not have but it's going to be HTC's next Verizon phone. According to rumors, Google has hired HTC to make a Nexus, and that Nexus "Google Nexus 5" could be based off the HTC Incredible X.

Here's a quick rundown of the specs a Google Nexus 5 (based off the HTC Incredible X) is rumored to have.
  • Android 4.1.2 (Which includes Project Butter improvements, extra lockscreen functionality, and other tweaks & fixes).
  • 5inch 1080p display
  • Quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro
  • 12mp rear camera, 2mp front facing camera
  • 2,500 mAh battery
  • Up to 64GB internal storage
This sounds like a pretty sweet phone. Unlike the rumored "LG Nexus" I posted on a few days ago, I really hope this one becomes reality. It sounds like an amazing phone.

All this information is claimed to come from a "reliable source from inside HTC" but as always, take it with a grain of salt.

Would you buy this phone?

5in is a little large for me personally (that's not what she said)...but if it's a small bezel definitely a possibility. Everything else sounds sexy for sure.

I thought Verizon doesn't do quad core? I'd buy it, used, for under $350.

5" is too big of a screen for me. 4.3" is perfect.

I'm sure I will be buying the HD Maxx, with the "projected" release of November.

I'm still holding on to my dream of Motorola making the next Nexus device. In my opinion it makes the most sense. Moto has a high build quality in terms of the handset being light and not a chunk of plastic prone to breaking when dropped. Plus come on, who wouldn't be interested to see the specs on a Moto Nexus out in time for the holidays, right?

Guess that makes sense to upgrade, but I have the Maxx so its too minimal of an upgrade for me.

I stopped believing it when I read 1080p display. Those specs are great but too good for a Google device. I would love for all that to be true but I'm just being realistic. Remember all the rumors about the Galaxy Nexus before that came out? When the phone actually surfaced it wasn't much better than the GS2 line up.

Why does everybody still hold onto the Motorola Nexus talk? The possibility of that happening (especially on Verizon) would be like Hitler throwing an annual Hanukkah event for the gestapo

No LG or HTC for me. If Moto does not make a Nexus than i'm grabbing a GNote2.

HTC Nexus, I would buy it, definitely. Wouldn't buy a Moto Nexus or an LG Nexus though. Hell I would buy a Pantech Nexus before I would go LG or Moto again.

With specs like that I don't care who makes it, I'd pre order it right now if I could.

The Razr HD has a decent enough battery I think. It's like 2,530 mAh I believe? So if you wanted a white one I think you'll still be cool with a Razr HD since the battery is significantly better than the Droid Razr. You'll probably make it through most of the day with that. That's just my guess though. I currently have the Razr MAXX right now and I feel the 3,300 mAh battery is definitely worth the extra $100. Absoultely no worries on battery life. Just think if you had the Maxx HD, if you wanted to you could always keep the brightness on full and still last all day. That way you can actually enjoy the "HD Display". You can always get a really nice white case and make it look fancy that way too lol
