Is there anyway the problem of not being able to go to the first unread message in Tapatalk can be fixed for this site? It would be nice if someone could check into it to see if it is a Tapatalk issue or something specific to this forum. This is the only forum I frequent that where this feature cannot be used. It always takes me to the first post of the thread, then you have to go to the end and backtrack to see where you left off.

I use Tapatalk more than I use my pc.

Thanks.

I use tapatalk a lot on my phone and tablet as well but have never had a issue. When I open a thread, it takes me to the last post just like I chose when I first clicked on one after installing.

You can also revisit that option in settings. The only problem i have with tapatalk is that sometimes it will destroy the format of a post! Such as when trying to update an OP...

I think the OP is referring to the "first unread" post, not the last post. I have the same problem with this forum. If you set it up to jump ti the last post, it will, but if you set it to go to the first unread post, it stays on the first page of the thread. This only happens with droidrzr.com. XDA, Rootz and others do not have this behavior. I have tried multiple things to correct it, but nothing seems to work.

If you guys can verify that it works for you, I'll continue to try, but otherwise I'll just go to the last post and read backwards until I find something familiar. ;)

OK I get what you mean. Honestly I have never used that option before so I've never noticed it. This is the only site I go to so I've got nothing to compare. Ill do a little digging and see what I can find out.

Yeah this site and taptalk, definitely are not friends. The fact that it subscribes to threads on its own and you cannot
Unsubscribe is annoying. Only site taptalk has an issue with, is this site.

Same here. I'd also like it if we could "like" posts from the apps. I can on other forums.

Looks like this issue has been around for awhile. Getting pretty good at "last post back".

It's not a Tapatalk issue, it's an issue with how the forum software is set up to interact with Tapatalk.

I would think it is something pretty simple since it works on every other forum I use. Many using the same software as here.

I'm having the same issue. (I know that's not what you asked, but I felt like responding anyway.)

Same issue for me, works everywhere else but not here.

Its a shame because "first unread" is such a nice option for those of that like to read all posts and stay current with threads. Its much easier on the go than trying to flip back through pages to get to the last post you read manually (which can be done but a nuisance when there exists a more efficient way).

Hope its fixed :-)
