Hi all

I'm newbie on this forum and not too sure is it a right place for it. I've got huge problem with my Moto. I've already posted it on xda, but as far as now nobody came back with any solution, so i'll try to give it go here.

Bought a Motorola phone as it is (no water damage) which comes to booting logo and after few minutes keep restarting and trying to booting with no results. I've started red some posts, already but i'm stuck. Reset doesn't work (Power button+volume control down), but when i press power button +camera button and plug in with computer, it shows black screen and green led. Already installed MEDFIELD drivers, RSD Lite and xFSTK-DLDR. tried already RSD Lite with no luck (i've downloaded CFC_signed_customer_8.7.1I-110_IFW-DE-31_RTEU.xml and CFC_9.8.2I-50_SMI-26_S7_USASMIJBRTEU.xml)

Can get to AP Fastboot Flash Mode, but when i tried to do Factory or Recovery gets:
Failed to enter Factory/Recovery mode. error code -18

No more error code, only some kind of "GETVAR" failed

I've removed all drivers and programs for Motorola and install RSD Lite 6.1.5 and Motorola Device Manager+USB drivers and my Motorola is seen in device manager as ADB Interface (Mot Single ADB Interface) and when i've started RSD and firmware CFC_9.8.2I-50_SMI-29_S7_USASMIJBRTGB.xml got such a message (picture number 7) and it stuck on Restarting Droidboot (Motorola) and restarting after minute and goes back to AP Fastboot.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

The fact that you've just randomly started flashing FXZ's without knowing what you're flashing means there's not much I can do for you.  You need to find the appropriate, latest version, FXZ for your phone and flash it.

That's great and all, but, if you flash the wrong FXZ, you brick it as you've already discovered with the errors in your pictures.  You need to find the LATEST FXZ for your phone and flash it.  If it doesn't fix it, then there's not a lot that can be done.

FXZ is what the firmware you flash in rsd is called. You need to find the appropriate one for your device, location and latest system version. You should be able to locate it on this page -

I've downloaded few of them (Retail Europe), but can't install them through AP Fastbook as it seems like Getvar blocked it.

Install the latest.

Ok. will do, and keep U posted. Thanks for that

Btw. As far as i understand i have to copy all files from CFC_9.8.2I-50_SMI-26_S7_USASMIJBRTEU.xml

into FXZ_xt926 folder, but it won't be .img file as there aren't any .img files. Is that correct?

You need to extract the ENTIRE FXZ into the FXZ_xt890 directory.  The instructions on this are very clear.

I don't do "step by step" when I've laid it out very clearly.  We're talking about taking a zip file and unzipping the contents of it into a folder.  If that is not something you are capable of doing, well, this process is probably not going to go well.  I know that sounds harsh, but, the simple reality is that basic computer skills ARE required in order to flash phones.

Uh, yea.  That's because FXZ_xt#### is not a literal.  You replace #### with the model of your phone.  Which is also what the instructions say to do.

I've using HouseofMoto 2.3 and as per pictures it seems that something happens, but still no working. When i've tried using FASTBOOT  it can't find file path and when i starting RSD it goes to RSD program nad stops on 3/10 and Restarting Droidboot on phone. What's wrong with it?
