Uhh, its not expected, you dont have to install a 3rd party rom. Phone comes with a rom, you could just drive that. I believe the proper response is a big thank you with a thumbs up and a +1. If you dont want to do the "work" involved with backing up, flashing, and restoring, then dont, stay stock. I feel lucky to have such a wonderful development community doing there thing making our phones, something to enjoy not just something to remember before you leave the house.

Well said! And as always, a big thanks to the great group of DEVS out there who are keeping our red-headed Motorola step-child fresh and exciting!

Cheers

I really want this!! Where it says:
  • Android 4.1.2
  • Codename Android Jelly Bean Base
does that mean I need to have Android 4.1.2 to get this ROM? I have 4.0.4 with system version 6.7.246.XT875. ICS in other words I guess. I've never done this before, but I want something new, and I've been hearing this is the best. Just so many things I don't know yet!! Haha

Sorry for being such a noob =P

The 4.1.2 is the system verison the ROM will jump you to. Codename Android Jelly Bean Base means Root used CNAs Jelly Bean base to build this ROM. You can't have 4.1.2 on your Bionic without flashing a ROM such as this one so no its not a requirement. Download the ROM flash through recovery and enjoy, this ROM is one of the best!

OK I screwed up. Tried to update Google music and plus. Said incompatible. Used tibu to uninstall and still didn't work. Tried restoring both apps now they don't work. Any thoughts. Thanks!

Try wiping cache and dalvik cache (but not data) reflashing. I had trouble updating Google apps too.

Once we get some good jb 4.2 goodness, you guys will get the bees knees update.
How does everyone think of the stableness of 4.2 by the way?

I have not had the chance to play with 4.2. My buddies got a note 2 but its has 4.1. They're a few 4.2 roms but cm 10.1 still has issues and I have not tried overdiveaokp 2.0.

I like what you did with this rom even though it was 4.1. :D

I really wanna use this Rom, however, I'd rather not restart every time I want to post something on instagram.

Congratulations on winning "Passive aggressive comment of the Day"

Would you mind giving up some more info on exactly what the problem is and what you have done to try and fix it so far??
