I changed the OP to say don't flash in bootstrap cause its not working. to answer your question though it seems to be "flashing" fine but its not actually deleting the system partition...so when it goes to put all the files from the rom in there there isnt enough room. BUT, and thats a big but, if you FORMAT the system partition then flash the rom it still "flashes" fine but then doesnt add anything to the system partition from the rom...this in turn soft bricks you and you have to HoB back to stock. Therefore i say again PLEASE DON'T FLASH IN BOOTSTRAP FOR THE TIME BEING! Luckily you seemed to have only did wipe data/factory reset and/or wiped cache/dalvik which means you really didn't do anything to your phone seeing as it didnt flash. Thus, you see all the same stuff in there cause it IS the same. Hope this answers your question, but if you want to flash in safestrap on safe side please go for it! Works fine that way for some reason...Thanks for posting the issue though! I like to know what i can fix for you guys to have a kick arse rom! (bootstrap fix to come!)

Yeah, that is what happened to me. I did notice that after i formatted /system the first time the flash was extremely quick, especially on the system partition part. So what you said seems to be true. Seems very odd to me. Good luck getting it fixed I would love to flash in bootstrap I'll even test it out for you

Thanks T3T3 for that throrough explanation. I just wiped cache an delvick, did not do a factory reset, which might have saved me.

That certainly explains what I am seeing. I have gotten away from Safe strap for the time being, so I am looking forward to flashing this ka ROM in touch bootstrap when it is ready. Thank you :-)

Thanks soo much guys ill let you know when i get it to the testing stage cause as JP1044 reminded me...my phone isnt exactly normal...its possessed. lol i have an issue with not being able to flash anything but blur based roms, which is why im sticking to those as a base...so who knows what else is wrong and it may or may not flash on my phone and at the same time do the opposite on yours lol ill keep you posted!

yeah i dont get that...its a google drive thing :/ well thank you kendog cause you just brought to my attention that you cant dl them from your phone...damn. well for now use the pc and just hit file in the corner and then download. ill update them with a mirror to my Adrive when i get home from work today. sorry about that guys! this is why i like getting these comments though

T3T3, I am on 247, flashed ROM in Safestrap and everything loaded up fine. However can't seem to download the "Extras" when I try I get a preview of the files?:-)
Using the ICS 4/29 gapps for now. Any suggestions.

I think I may have found another bug. Whenever I have beats boost enabled and I switch a track the sound level jumps to 100% thus blowing my ear drums haha but really though, can anyone else confirm this, or is it just me?

Please read the original post. You will find out that this is sonofskywalker3's BlackHole Bionic rom but with a .247 ics leak base. And flashing a rom is your choice therefore you can not call it a "waste of time"
