I was on one of the CM10 ROMs, and love all of the ringtones, notification tones, and such...but I needed my bluetooth to work properly. Anyone know if there is a way to install just the tones?

btw....sorry if this is in the wrong area. Feel free to move it, if necessary.

Thx!!

They are in the system folder. If you're rooted you can copy/paste the tones to the same folder on a stock ROM.
a what? an android? whats that?

The exact route is
/system/media/audio/ and then various kinds of tones. (I.e. ringtones, ui, alarms, notifications)

Only problem is that they all show up twice in the list, when choosing a tone now...???

Manually delete the dubs. Or you can pull them and put them on your laptop, delete the deubs that way and then move back to the folder?

I deleted the "original" folders, and then copied the CM10 folders in. Still have the duplicates. Any ideas???

Yeah its just a shirt. Lol and try a reboot? Make sure you delete any other folder, like if you extracted a ROM to get it, delete that folder? Try a reboot first. Lol glad to help you guys! :-). Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy

Had to delete the files from my external SD card, as you suggested, and then wipe cache. All good now. Thanks for the help!!!
