"in ur C drive where the program files are located?" is simpler then swdl.txt.

Open up a command prompt, type the following:

cd /d c:\

dir swdl.txt /s

And look for the output from that last command.

That's great and all.  But I don't see the contents of that file anywhere.  *I* didn't need to find the location of it.  You did so you could post the contents of it so we can see what happened during flashing.

Sigh.  I don't have the patience for this today.  Sorry.  I mean, I give you a command to find the file I want, it shows you where the file is located, and you give me some other file not at all related to what I just spent half the afternoon teaching you how to find.  I have to be done now.

Flash was successful so no idea.  FXZ resets it to a factory state.  If it's still not booting, then it could be physically damaged.

SargeMaj--you are the MAN!

This totally worked.  After my 905 load got jacked up from a root that worked then went bad, then wouldn't go away, I had no idea what to do.

I admit--I was pretty weary about some of it, but it worked very well.

I rolled mine to 902 (unrooted) and it --voila!  updated to 905 without issue.  It is now going to the next update which I hope works.

Not sure I will root it in the future--if it dorks up all the updates, and I am not a developer, I am not seeing much point other than 'because I can.'

Thanks!
