sorry if this is in the wrong section. i wasnt sure where to put it so if it needs to be moved then i understand.
this is a funny conversation i had with someone from motorola, about our bootloader situation. the only thing i got was the phone number to sanjay jha (motorolas CEO) but its good for a laugh...lol

Babylyn (Listening)

Babylyn: Hi, my name is Babylyn. How may I help you?

michael garney: i need your CEO s email address to handle my problems with this company

Babylyn: May I know the problems that you are having trouble with?

michael garney: i want my bootloader unlocked for my droid razr
Babylyn: Is it showing up a blank screen?

michael garney: it says my bootloader is locked
Babylyn: In the unlikely event that your device becomes unresponsive, try a forced reboot: Press and hold both Power/Lock button and the up-volume key for three seconds.

michael garney: that has nothing to do with my problem

michael garney: my phone works great i just want to have our bootloaders unlocked for developmental purposes

michael garney: what is your CEO semail address

Babylyn: If that would be the case, you have to send it in to our repair center and they will be the one to unlocked it for you.

michael garney: no they wont...look are you a real person or a bot? motorola said they will have a tool for us to use to unlock our bootloaders by the end of 2011 and it still hasnt happened

Babylyn: I definitely know that could be frustrating. I can understand how you feel.

michael garney: so give me his email address

Babylyn: One moment, please.

michael garney: hello?

Babylyn: Yes, I'm still here. One more moment please, while I find that information for you.

Babylyn: Thank you for holding, my apologies for the delay.

Babylyn: I do apologize but we do not have any information about the email address of the CEO. However, I can provide you the address and telephone number of our headquarter's office.

michael garney: please do

Babylyn: 600 North U.S. Highway 45
Libertyville, Illinois 60048 USA
Telephone: +1 847 523 5000

michael garney: and the email address for them?

Babylyn: We do not have information on our end.

Babylyn: That is only the information that I can provide.

Babylyn: Would there be anything else that I can assist you with today?

michael garney: no thats it

all read from a script ... would be better if it was a bot so you feel like theres a reason for the lack of info
In my Ferocious convictions, and in-dominant belief in my own actions, it would be a great advantage to anyone's interest who lay with mine..... Vanten Kiest

The only customer service reps I've dealt with that did not feel that way were Nintendo, NewEgg, and Amazon. The Nintendo rep even recommended I look around online for how to hack my Wii to see replacing the IOS files would help before sending it in for repair when it was having issues powering on, although being slightly cryptic in her wording (protecting her job more than likely, lol). I tried, it didn't resolve the problem, and they fixed my then hacked Wii at no charge besides shipping and no complaints about it being hacked.

What exactly did you expect to happen during your chat with the absolute lowest form of tech support on the planet?
