I'm having a similar problem as Dave above. When I hit the keep data button the Flasher closes but RSD does not open. I do not have a low battery issue. Flasher does generate the keep data.xml, but RSD just never opens. I did select the correct path to the SDL.exe and double checked and did the reset also. Original cable and usb 2.0 Not sure what is going on. I also waited a good 10 minutes for it to open, and I already extracted the zip. I did use your RSD Script generator and RSD to get me to where I had to go, just a couple steps away from unlocking the wife's phone. :) Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk

If it's truly not opening at all, as opposed to opening and immediately closing, then I have no idea.  If it's opening and immediately closing then it doesn't like either the FXZ, the script, or isn't detecting your phone.

I really don't think it is opening at all, No big deal i just opened rsd and used the script generator tool. I just wanted to let you know as it may help someone else later on?

No idea.  Try using the RSD Reset and reselect the SDL.exe file.  No idea why it wouldn't work.  I've tested the hell out of it on my machine and many others have used it successfully.

RSD Flasher 1.5 released

o) Added a popup dialog if the process to open RSD fails.  If you get a popup that says "UH OH..." take a screenshot of it and post it please.  We'll see if we can figure out what's happening for you guys that it won't open for.

Well I think I figured out my problem. I put the RSDFlasher.jar and the .xml file into a folder on my desktop and RSD fails to open. But if I place those two files directly on the desktop apparently it works.

Um, when you say the jar and the xml, what do you mean?  The xml for the FXZ has to remain with the files for the FXZ and should not be moved.

I'm sorry I meant the FXZ which is the VZW_XT926_4.4.2-KDA20.62-10.1_CFC_1FF.xml and your RSDflasher.jar were put into a folder on the desktop all by themselves and it doesn't work. Move those two files directly to desktop and it works.

It's weird because it did create the KEEPDATA.xml just didn't open RSD.

And just to be clear I did not move any files, they all stayed within the FXZ where they were generated.

Weird.  Any spaces in the path you created?

I was just gonna post that if I take the spaces out of the folder name that it works. Sorry to waste your time, I just didn't know. Works now, Thanks. (yeah, I'm an idiot)

I've read through the whole post and was wondering if this supports the XT1080M Droid Maxx?

I am on the 19.6.3 update and want to downgrade to root (JCase Method) and turn WP (WpNoMo) off.

It supports any phone with an FXZ.

When I run the rsdflasher.jar and select the xml.zip destination folder I get an "unzip complete" notification immediately and no buttons show up on the rsd flasher screen. Manually unzipping the file and selecting it through rsdflasher gets me the buttons, but rsd doesn't open.

I'm using rsdflasher 1.5 and did not get an "uh oh" screen.

It did create the keepdata.xml and I used that from rsd.  Flashing now...we'll see what happens.

So I got my battery to say OK in Fastboot mode, I've deleted all of the files and reinstalled them (RSD, Flasher, zip files) and I tried to run the flasher and i'm still not having any luck. I'm using a moto Razr HD that got stuck in a bootoop after I installed the verizon/moto OTA. I've tried to root the phone before with no sucess which is the only reason I can think of for it bootlooping. I'm selecting the RSD.exe file and the XML file and clicking universal flash. After I do all of that the Fasher closes and nothing happens.
