OK here is the deal. rooted my HD Max and started to have a little fun with it. had it tweaked in pretty good and got a little to greedy. ( more speed) anyway was running fine and did a reboot and went into boot loop. played with it for a while and read and read. now the only time i can get it to turn on is to plug it in to puter and then let it power up then goes to redeye boot and just hangs. cant get into fast boot or anything. was running jellybean with vodoo/su and cant remember other app for tweaking. (gettn a little old) any help would be great.

back to my old droid x for know untill i can either fire this thing up or give it to the dog for a chew toy :D

love a challenge though.

Oh Yea.

Had a hell of a time trying to register dam security code thing was a killer. have read a ton on here but was always unregistered user. supose i better hang around for a while if i plan on playing.

Thanks again

You can't get into fastboot but it goes to the redeye boot? Interesting. Have you tried holding down volume+, volume- and power when you turn it on? It will take you to a menu that you can choose fastboot from. If you can get to the boot animation, it really should still have fastboot available.

Power off. Hold volume down only. Press and release power while still holding volume down. Takes you directly to fastboot bypassing the bootloader menu.

Head to the House of Moto and flash the fxz for the system version you are on or newer. You can try with a save data first if you want, but if that flashed ok and you still can't boot them you should do a full that will wipe the data.

Btw, you started that you rooted, but did you unlock? If not you really want to do it because this opportunity likely won't come again.
