Thank you guys for the forum and all the great info. im sure what im looking for is here somewhere.

!- This is my first time posting in any forums , so please forgive the n00bness . I used towel root on my xt907 verizion . worked fine . i put cwm on it with rom manager . no issues . everything was good until i accidently uninstalled play store . i tried multiple downloads and versions to no avail. I then got the bright idea to try and just go back to stock in the setting menu. i   lost everything for nothing. tried to put a different rom on. -! 

used matts razr utility - really messed phone up

flashed JB back to phone - no touch on screen

3 days later and mulitple tries with rsd lite and adb  - officially bricked .

dunno if phone will charge. stuck in bootloop 


what can i do ?

Which Razr utility did you use?  When you connect your phone to the computer, what does it show in Device Manager?

matts utility is what i used. nothing shows up in device manager , but rds does show it to be connected. boot menu is still usable. thank you for your reply

If you can get into AP Fastboot, and the battery isn't reading low, grab the latest FXZ, head to House of Moto and start fresh again.  To roll back to JB, be sure to use Universal script from Samuri's script generator.

He'll need to fry the data partition at this point, so, universal with a side order of FDR.  Also, my RSD Script Flasher is a better tool these days.

it was loading up with jelly bean but no touch on the screen. now im trying to figure out a way to get it up to charge . everything i flash says piv error

i have the stock 4.4.2 .xml.zip and a few other roms , but nothing sticks . i even tried to change the name to update.zip on the adb side. im pretty sure i fried it , if not its close

i wiped the cache partition and it went back to the jellybean startup screen , but still no touch...wont charge in jb

the fxz that i downloaded from the link wont open correctly. i downloaded it 5 times.  bottom  link  - 4.4.2 . trying the rsd flasher now

getting <bootloader> command restricted during flash of stock firmware.

Um, what is the exact text of your AP Fastboot screen?

device is locked status code :0 battery ok transfer mode : usb connected

and when i try to use rsd lite it fails at step  5/7 flash system.img

That's not ALL the text of the AP Fastboot mode.  You simply assumed what I wanted from the screen and assumed incorrectly.  I'm gonna also take a wild stab in the dark as I don't have enough patience today to deal with nonsense, let's just tell me the version of RSD that you're using.

Yea, that's not a very good message and why I wanted the whole thing as it makes a huge difference.
