Normally I wouldn't dare post anything apple related on an android forum :P but seeing how thin the new iMac is was unbelievable!!!

What did you guys think of the iPad Mini, iPad 4, iMac, and all the other crap apple announced today??? I was pretty surprised to tell you the truth since it is October and the iPad usually gets released in March but since it was just a minor-ish upgrade I kinda get it

Let the apple-android showdown begin!!!

PS: feel free to post links to reviews and comparisons between the iPad mini and android tablets or any of the other apple products. I would like to see what the internet thinks outside of DR as well :)

Hi we're Apple.. We have a brand new ipad for ya. It's got marginally better specs and you won't notice the difference but hey just give us your $600 and move along. Don't worry you'll know exactly how to use it because we haven't changed the antique software in 7 years. Oh yeah and now it comes in mini size which is cheaper for all you broke wannabe elitists in training. Now you can look the part too...

Great review! Thanks for the link :)

One thing they did fail to mention is that the iPad does have LTE where at the moment the Nexus 7 doesn't have any form of cellular connectivity. There are strong rumors that the new Nexus 7 coming out on Monday will have 3g connectivity but if you are someone focused on LTE speeds you might want to lean more towards the iPad.

What doesn't make sense to me is that Apple created a new tablet division. Before there were $500 tablets, and $200-250 tablets. For some stupid reason apple thought it was a good idea to slide the iPad mini somewhere in the middle and say an 8 inch tablet is in between 7 and 10 inches so the price should also be in between (leaning more towards the 7 inch.) Their price choice technically makes sense for the product, but the product itself doesn't make sense in the current tablet market.

It could be that android has enough patents for 7 inch tablets that they could fire right back at Apple for copying designs (since that is Apple's favorite thing to do). Just speculating though.
