Well, Thanks for posting your mods!

I tried this "

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

"

Looks nice, fast, smooth and really debloated!

Though, I found one weird problem...

I am not able to change the time.

Any workaround about this issue?

Also I would like to get back the Moto Circles widget. Is it possible to get it from another source?

EDIT: Time adjustment problem solved. That was not ROM problem at all.

Untill now,no problems discovered so far.

You can get the Moto Circles Widget here:

It worked for me.

However after installing

I seem to have lost root.  Go figure.  Probably something I did wrong.

So, just realized that tethering does not work.. Just FYI. I get a FC when trying to run the app or running from setup.

If possible run a logcat for me at the point of turning the tethering on. I don't have service on mine or I would. I might have deleted something it needs. Thanks.

Awesome, thanks so much for this!!

One VERY minor nitpick I have is that the thumbnail for the "default" wallpaper, as seen in the OP on the Power/Bat mod thread, differs from the wallpaper itself.

That said, can you please instruct me on its, and all other wallpapers, deletion/removal from my phone?

(I've a feeling that these other wallpapers I'm seeing are loaded/built-in to Apex Launcher, but I'm not sure).

Lastly, I'd just like to request that you deodex, root and debloat the 182/183.46.15 rom as well.

That is only if and when you find it in your heart to do so!

The wallpaper that is showned in the mod tread is one from the moto X which if you applied the mod it will be the default wallpaper located in the framework-res apk. As far as .15 it will be in due time.. Gotta find some time in between my normal days stuff.

@ morrisr3nd Thank you very much, for the link for Circles Widget. As for the root. I tested all three vanquish_signed(DeOdexed-Rooted) vanquish_signed(Odexed-Rooted) vanquish_signed(DeOdexed-Rooted-Bloat-Free) (Stayed with this one) And root worked in all cases. Maybe you just need to reinstall SuperSu app from the Gplay...

I don't know what happened but root checker said that I was not rooted. Checked it again later and it said that it was. Go figure. If something weird is going to happen. It will happen to me.

Hey guys,

Been unlocked/rooted on custom 4.1.2 ROM for awhile now looking to jump over to the 4.4.2 official, and this unbloated/rooted version looks like the best start & easiest, what's the easiest way to upgrade to the KitKat boot loader and custom recovery to install this? Its been awhile :D

Then after reading that, Read it 15 times more so that you understand the processes...

Once you get that done you should use the Fastboot method to install TWRP 2.7.xx of higher.

After fastboot is done flashing TWRP recovery then unplug your phone from the usb, press the power button to exit fastboot mode, then

boot into bootloader mode and choose recovery so that TWRP can initialize and stick. If you boot straight into the System after installing

new recovery you will have to repeat the processes all over so make sure that you do it right the first time.

EDIT:

It appears to have been an issue with Apex Launcher.

I just reflashed this mod and reinstalled Apex, the issue has cleared up.

For what it's worth, I had accidentally formatted /system.

Thankfully, I was able to get this mod reflashed without issue...

I'm eagerly awaiting the .15 in all its bloat-free, deodexed and rooted glory!!!

Thanks again for your hard work!
