Nexesque is stock based, so you'll still get the nag. On 4.1.2, you can freeze the updater.apk to stop the notices.

I have 2 XT926's both rooted, unlocked, and running 4.1.2 JB (NEXESQUE XT926 3.6)
because that's the only OS I've found that's compatible with the UConnect in my car. From everything I've read I thought that once a phone was rooted & unlocked it wouldn't get VZW updates anymore? Both phones keep getting the notice to install update(183.46.10.en.US). Is this normal or is there any way I can stop the install update notifications? Thanks in advance for everything y'all do to help so many!

It is normal. To stop getting the update notice search the forum about freezing the motorola update service. I know I read it here, I just don't remember where. Good hunting.
