Longtime Blackberry user finally throwing in the towel and tossing my BB for a Droid Razr, but can't find a few features in that I loved about the BB:
- There doesn't seem to be an option to check spelling before sending email in the standard Droid email app. Is there another app that does this or something I need to flip on for this to work?
- When typing on the Blackberry you can hold a letter key and it would capitalize that letter. Is there a similar feature on the Droid or do I have to hit the shift key?

Spellcheck works as you type, not after it is already drafted.
I've always used the shift button on the rare instance I need to capitalize that isn't auto-capitalized.

Go to Settings > Language & Input > Keyboard & Input Methods

From there you can configure the keyboard, or select and alternate keyboard. I personally like to use either Swype or FlexT9. Others like Thumb Keyboard. By far the most popular is Swiftkey.
