I just want to mention that there is a device agnostic version of the 4.2 camera from the new nexus 4 out in flashable zip form that works on the RAZR/maxx. Just wanted to Give everyone a heads up that it is out there.

The thread you linked to contains the 4.2 keyboard, not the camera!

I've downloaded the camera. I don't believe there is a way to get photo sphere to work on our phones because there isn't a gyroscope.

Not sure if we can just down load or it has to be baked into a rom because

seems to have it rocking in his Eclipse ICS V1.4 update.

I can not get the sphere to work, I tried everything. Don't think this guy is ready for the Razr yet.

The regular Droid RAZR has a gyro, but the MAXX (from some odd reason) doesn't.

Can't get panorama or sphere to work. I can calibrate my sphere but it never gets passed the calibration.

Also has anyone noticed that the camera appears to be zoomed in the whole time? I can't see everything the camera is capturing on the screen. It's really annoying. this is what keeps me going back to Moto camera from these AOSP camera's.

Maxx and OG Razr are the same phone with a different battery and back cover.
If one doesn't have it they both don't, or vice versa.

After I wrote that, that's what I realized. I read some bogus comparison online from a website which appears to have all their facts wrong. Scratch my post =o

So is it a stone cold fact that the razr doesn't have a gyro?

From the quick research I did it appears to have one, but it is not enabled?
