The Verizon Galaxy S III has finally received its first Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) leak. Build I535VRBLI5 was outed on XDA thanks to member jucytec. An update.zip file (like an OTA) was available, but was pulled due to members having some issues with the update. But now many ROM developers have merged this rom into their ROMs.

I am running this on my Galaxy S3 right now, and I will post back results within the next day or two. According to jucytec, this was not approved by Verizon and that another build was sent to Verizon for approval. If approved, it could roll out as the OTA in or around 3 weeks from now.

If you would like to flash this, head to the threads below to get started. Be sure to be rooted, bootloader unlocked, and custom recovery installed. The baseband from this leak is NOT in this ROM, so if you would like that too (who wouldn't in my opinion), head to this thread to download the baseband. It is flashable in Odin and in Recovery.

Oh, and yes that stupid annoying ongoing WiFi notification is still present here. But don't let that be a dealbreaker.

Tried it but it looked too much like crap stock rom. Went back to rls8 - love that jellybomb theme.

Been running the stock, deodexed rom for a few hours now but have ran a JB rom (ported) before. I actually like stock. Samsung has come up with some great features that are lost when running aosp.

Since the leak has been deodexed, themes and mods can be flashed to it as well.

I flashed the new radio and so far has improved my signal.

I'll be looking for an update to Bean's rom for my next flash.

I like this ROM, its stable and pretty fast. Its just no WiFi toggle, WiFi notification, and the keyboard thing makes me want to kill myself.
