I currently have a Razr M retail version. I am considering in purchasing a Dev phone. I have come from the Droid X and I enjoyed the Rom Development with this phone. Which Razr device or devices should get good rom development. Will an exploit (recovery) ever make it to the retail versions?

I'm gonna go ahead and say those are some excellent questions to which we currently have no answers. I know P3 has a dev M and has already begun working on it...but for the retail versions...I have heard no word on SafeStrap or any other custom recovery...
