I just rooted and installed the JB leak and was wondering if we can do any of the things in this thread:

Do we nee CWM for these things or can it be done through stock recovery?

To my knowledge, you can only flash an update through the stock recovery. As in going from an official release to another official release. You might be able to extract those and then install the individual .apks. hope that helps.

yeah, those appear to be custom flashable zips...which would mean you would need a custom recovery...which means they will not work for the HD unless you have a developer unit, as we have no custom recoveries at this time... lol..but as suggested, you can probably extract the individual apk's from the zips and install them manually through Root Explorer...

Thanks for the replies, you have confirmed what I believed to be the case.

On the upside though, I was able to get the camera and gallery from the Nexus 4 on the Razr HD using this:

Photospheres work and everything! Now, if I can just do the same for the keyboard.

The stock recovery will only flash zips that are signed by Motorola. If it were as easy as flashing in stock recovery we wouldn't have to jump through all the hoops we do jump through.
