First post! Like the Topic title says, I was wondering if anyone knows for sure if the new Razr HD has some type of protection embedded to thwart over charging it. I have heard most phones in the past couple years have protection against it now, I just recently upgraded from the Droid 2 Global and I know for a fact that thing did not have this type of protection. So if anyone has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated! I'll be staying cautious for now, lol

Every device sold in the US that carries a Lithium-ion battery has a circuit inside it to prevent over-charging or completely draining the battery. This includes pretty much every cell phone made in the last 10 years.
