Does anyone know where you can get a good new battery for a RAZR HD? Moto won't go. They said no. I think my battery is bad and it makes me sad... :D:

I'm kinda scared of eBay. I got burned bad once buying something from an individual. I'm worried with my luck I'll spend new money on a used battery. Is batterymonster.com good? They have them for 20 bucks.

That's what I kinda figured. Twenty sounds too cheap. That's a hundred dollar battery if I remember right.

Which is why I would look (on eBay or swappa) for someone that has a broken phone and is possibly selling the useable parts...... Then its a better bet that you are getting a OEM battery and probably in decent shape...:)

I've had luck with Amazon as well.  The EV30 (Razr HD) is about $27.   The EV40 (Razr HD Maxx) is about $37.

Oh, and, I always try to buy OEM on batteries.  No need to have my phone explode :)

I'm curious how your battery is bad?

I'm not sure if I've let it go dead one too many times or if I use it too much. I had two and a half hours of screen time the other day with five and three quarter hours of on battery time and went from 100 to 2% in that time. It gets pretty hot while I'm using it. The battery info says that the battery is good though? I don't know.

You may want to try "calibrating" the battery...... Use it until it shuts off on its own...... Leave it off, plug into AC charger NOT USB plugged into computer when it shows 100%.... Leaving it on charge for an additional 1/2 hour to hour........ Use it until it shuts off again..... Charge again with AC charger(like above)

2-1/2 hours of screen time is nothing to complain about either really if you are stock and have your brightness set high.

You may also have an app or two running rampant in the background sucking down your battery......

Google location services has been a major complaint for people lately.  I disabled mine completely, but there's also an Xposed module that can adjust the time that location services wake the phone.  I disabled location services on my M8 last week (I had done this previously, but I updated my ROM and it was re-enabled) and I gained quite a bit of battery life.

Hmm. I have it set on auto. I just don't think I remember my phone going down that fast from 2-1/2 hours screen time. It's made it to 30% with that much screen the but its never gone to 2%. Maybe I need to recalibrate it.

That's why I asked. It is likely an application using up your battery. Unfortunatly it's tough to figure out. I think I have it figured out and than something else starts eating up my battery. So far reverting back to JB stock has been the best thing for battery life which I'm not running right now. The last few days my phone was only using half my battery in a 12 hour time span and today I hardly used it and it died before I got home from work... something killing my battery again after updating some google apps. Right now apps have issues with KK keeping phones awake.

Hmmm. Since I'm rooted and unlocked going back to JB sounds tempting.

if your running 4.4.2 that could be the problem I just went back to 4.1.2 and fixed my battery issues

that new update is awful battery hog to the max something is wrong with it

when I went to settings battery it always said media was my biggest battery burner with 4.4.2

now back on 4.1.2 that has quit and it says display again which is back to giving me many days out of battery?

my phone always felt very hot in my pocket before downgrading

Do it now you may not be able to later
