Hi im 15 and i installed red tide revenge rom onto my dads razor maxx and it wont go into webtop mode when plugged into his lap dock.
Is there any way to put webtop software over/onto a custom rom???
Red TIde Revenge rom is a jelly bean build (if that matters)

Why is this in the Razr M section? Moved to Razr general.
To answer your question you are only going to get webtop on Moto Blur based Roms. I would suggest you install one of those in order to get that funtionallity

Sorry, no can do. The only way to get Webtop back, is to revert back to your stock system, or run the Droid HD or Arctic HD Blur based Roms.Hi im 15 and i installed red tide revenge rom onto my dads razor maxx and it wont go into webtop mode when plugged into his lap dock.

Sorry to bring bad news, but that's the only way as of this moment to get it working. There aren't any other ways or work arounds.

Even if you start over, to the best of my knowledge there is NO rom, that offers webtop support. Heck, even Motorola doesnt offer webtop support anymore. The last razr with ICS will be the last you'll see of it. The last of a dying breed if you will.

There are a few roms that fully support webtop. In fact, any rom based on .211/.214/or .215 base will have Webtop as a part of it. I'm running Andlaw's Black Widow ICS
, with full webtop support. It's a rock stable ROM with amazing battery life. Literally, a sipper. But you can find others. Just look for stock moto roms (NOT AOSP or CM), check the OP for Webtop mention, then search the thread for mentioning of any issues with Webtop. That's the beauty of the community here, something for everyone.

I'm expecting current devices to maintain webtop support, but no more webtop accessories or new devices gaining support.
