My droid x, bionic, and razr maxx also had locked bootloaders.. and I able to overclock them all.. I kind of wish i got the developer edition, but i wanted the 32 internal storage instead of the 16.

I think his point was more about the just came out part. I mean they just got custom recovery last week. That aside we used to OC all those old phones because they were slower that running WinXP on 128 meg of RAM but these newer phones should be better with that considering the faster processors and more ram (on some). Seems like OCing will just kill your battery faster.

Most likely a module to load then an app to interface with that module, the S4 Snapdragon has been overlclocked, I'm guessing it's just a matter of time.

Fist we're gonna need init.d support. Then, we're gonna need an overclock able governor. Then, it'll need to be implement.

Now that we have an unlocked bootloader and custom recoveries and all that, it should be a lot easier to do an overclock. Anyone heard anything?

There's a arrrgh kernel on xda for 4.1.2 ROMs where you can over clock and he has one for the CM builds and team ose ROMs have over clock capabilities.

Sent from my Maxx HD running 4.4 Kit Kat.... thanks to DHacker29
