Please help! urgent help needed, I'm noob about Motorola devices. Just got updated to the 183.46.15 through OTA Update and after it 'Mic' stops working every now and then, And just works for some hours if done Full Factory Reset. Bootloader is also Locked. I'm willing to do anything to get rid of this problem, even if downgrading is the solution. Please help urgently..!

Follow the directions in OP of this thread..... If it is a software issue that's causing it, this should fix it.....

You cannot root and cannot unlock on 183.46.15. They're is no going backwards to do it either.

Don't count on it. This phone is 2 years old. Moto won't be pushing any new updates out as this last OTA was the final OTA.

Devs are not looking at creating exploits for it to gain root.

The only real possibility is that a new root method for 4.4.4 builds is found and somehow magically works on the XT926.....

There hasn't been a 4.4.4 root method publicly released that is worth anything and chances of it working on this device are very very very very slim if it does.  Just enjoy your phone the way it is for now.

Keep testing things and you might end up with a brick.

where I can get this information

When Rik stated "magic has worked for us", that is not a specific root method. He means, we've had some luck with root exploits that weren't designed specifically for the XT926s work. Another time, someone found a wild exploit that worked on a Samsung I believe and it worked for us. Again, no one is actively working on one for this specific phone since it's so old. But, to keep trying things that aren't specific to this phone could result in you bricking it and then you are SOL.

Nothing to see there. It just tells you how to use the Motorola website bootloader unlock. Not for those devices that are not meant to be unlocked.
